M I N O S

This vessel was turned from a sycamore tree and is a part of the exploration of combining multi-axis woodturning with vessel form. The exterior was scorched and brushed with an abrasive brush to create a subtle texture on the surface. India ink was used to dye the textured exterior. The interior was treated with oil to accentuate the warm sycamore hues to contrast the ebonized exterior.

Care Instructions: Avoid excessive moisture and submersion. Dust with a non-abrasive cloth or duster as required. Not intended to hold or contact any moisture/liquids. Use care when dusting around thin edges and natural voids. Avoid handling with bare hands, as oils from skin may discolor wood's natural color.
