Spalted Beech Bowl IV

This bowl was thin-turned from American Beech to create an elegant, delicate bowl. The timber was left to naturally spalt for several months before processing and turning. The spalting lines are a beautiful display of natural forces at work on the timber. After turning, the bowl was sealed with food-safe oil and wax. 

This form is food-safe and sealed with American Vegetarian Association-certified products.

Care Instructions: Avoid excessive moisture and submersion. Dust with a dry, non-abrasive cloth or duster as required and not intended to hold or contact any moisture/liquids. Use care when dusting around thin edges and natural voids.
