This bowl was turned from an elm tree that fell during a summer storm. It was turned extremely thin while the timber was still green and saturated and allowed to warp and shrink through the drying process. After the drying, the bowl was finished with WalrusOil wax products to protect the wood from moisture.
The American Elm timber was sourced in Fort Worth, TX.
This bowl is treated with food-safe finishes.
