Spalted Maple Multi-Axis Vessel

This vessel was multi-axis turned from a fallen tree that was toppled by a summer storm in Fort Worth, Texas. Spalting lines are exceedingly visible from all sides. After turning, this vessel underwent a period of handcarving and sanding to render it to it's final form. Finally, this vessel was painted matte black on the interior and finished with oil and carnauba wax on the exterior.

Care Instructions: Avoid excessive moisture and submersion. Dust with a non-abrasive cloth or duster as required. Not intended to hold or contact any moisture/liquids. Use care when dusting around thin edges and natural voids.
