Pear Crotch Vessel (Medium)

Crafted from a storm-fallen pear crotch-section, this vessel was turned to highlight the natural beauty and hue of pear wood. Between the piths where the branches diverged, a natural void crevasses through the side of the form. The mouth was scorched to create a dramatic contrast with the body.

This form is not finished with any wax or oil.

Care Instructions: Avoid excessive moisture and submersion. Dust with a dry, non-abrasive cloth or duster as required and not intended to hold or contact any moisture/liquids. Use care when dusting around thin edges and natural voids. Limit handling with bare hands, as oils from the skin may alter the color of the wood.
