Quilted Norway Maple Bowl

This Norway Maple bowl was crafted from a storm-fallen tree in suburban Philadelphia. Chatoyant quilting patterns in the timber cross the wood grain across nearly the entirety of the bottom of the bowl, giving way to dimension and insight into the story of the tree before it fell. This bowl was finished with food-safe oil and wax.
